After first spells as a copywriter in b2b and design agencies, Joined Holmes Knight Ritchie, later TBWA. Quickly won awards and recognition on Nikon, Bristol & West and The Macallan.

THE NINETIES Cont’d at TBWA working on famous campaigns including Wonderbra and Absolut vodka and Nissan plus a rarely lovable award-winning campaign for the Sun Newspaper. Created the Playstation ‘Symbols’ campaign, a multi-award winner for me and for years after, many others.

THE NOUGHTIES Rainey Kelly Y&R. CD on Virgin, News Intl, Royal Navy, Jose Cuervo. Then joint ECD at Leith London running accounts from Hotpoint cookers to cooking lager (Sorry Carling). Followed Carling to Beattie McGuinness Bungay, helping them to win clients like Ikea, Thomson Holidays, McCain, Microsoft and become Agency of the year in 2008.

THE TENS Cont’d creating and nurturing mould-breaking work for Ikea, Ing Direct and Yorkshire Tea. Later became Creative Head at M&C Saatchi Accelerator working with start-ups and more mature businesses with an urgent, impatient need for results.  Freelancing since 2019.

THE TWENTIES Recent clients include: Engine (House 337), Leo Burnett, facebook, Ogilvy, The & Partnership, Specsavers, Red Brick Road.
